Personal Information
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, update your profile, create events, book tickets, or contact us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, profile information, event details, booking information, payment details, and any files or images you upload.
Event and Booking Information
When you create events or make bookings, we collect event details, guest lists, check-in data, venue information, pricing details, and related event management data.
Identity Verification Data
For certain events, we may require identity verification. Stripe Identity processes your ID documents and selfie. ListMe stores only verification status, document type, and verification date — not the document images themselves.
Usage Information
We automatically collect information about your use of our services, including your IP address, browser type, access times, pages viewed, and interactions.
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our platform
- Enable event creation, booking, and management
- Process payments and send confirmations
- Facilitate communication between organisers and attendees
- Provide check-in and door management services
- Send event reminders and important notifications
- Enable social features like following and discovering events
- Generate analytics and insights for organisers
- Provide customer support
- Detect and prevent fraud, scams, and unauthorised activities
- Enforce our Terms of Service
ListMe has a small, authorised support team who can access user data for the following purposes only:
- Verifying reports of fraud, abuse, or scams
- Investigating red flags raised by venue staff or other users
- Resolving booking disputes or payment issues
- Enforcing our Terms of Service (e.g., banning users for violations)
Every admin action is logged. We maintain an audit trail showing who accessed what data, when, and why. This log is retained for 3 years. We do not browse profiles out of curiosity, sell your data, or share information with third parties for marketing.
Some events require ID verification to prevent fraud and ensure safety. When you verify:
- Stripe Identity processes your ID document and selfie on Stripe's secure servers
- ListMe receives only: verification status (verified/failed), document type, and verification date
- We do not store your ID document images on ListMe servers
Retention: Verification records are kept for 12 months after your account is closed, then deleted. You can request earlier deletion by emailing hello@listmehq.com with subject "ID Data Deletion".
We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption, secure payment processing, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations.
- Active accounts: Data retained while your account is active
- Account deletion requests: Personal data removed within 30 days
- Financial records: Anonymised and retained for 7 years for tax/legal compliance
- Red flag records: Retained for 12 months after account closure for community safety, then purged
- ID verification data: Deleted immediately upon account closure
- Admin audit logs: Retained for 3 years
You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account.

- Your personal data (name, email, phone, profile image) is removed within 30 days
- Financial records are anonymised and retained for 7 years
- Red flag records are retained for 12 months, then purged
- ID verification data is deleted immediately
- Aggregated, non-identifiable data (e.g., "500 tickets sold") is kept for analytics
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. This must be done by the account holder — no one else can delete your account on your behalf.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
